This Saturday morning, Maritime Rescue rescued a canoe with a few 50 sub-Saharan migrants when he was in the waters near Amadores beach (Gran Canaria).

It was the Guardamar Concepción Arenal that intercepted the irregular vessel and transported its occupants to the Arguineguín dock, after locating them near the tourist beach, in the municipality of Mogán, in the southwest of the island .

The rescue operation was coordinated and controlled by the Las Palmas Rescue Coordination Center.

At the Arguineguín dock, they were treated by the health system, made up of the Red Cross and the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC), which took charge of caring for the migrants.
